A GREAT STORM

Last Monday ,the wind raged, the clouds burst and a gale-force storm hit the city. It took many people by surprised. I was lucky that I had an umbrella with me. However, others were not as lucky as me. They did not have umbrella with them so that they had to run to find shelter. It rained like dogs and cats. Many of them got drenched.

Then, I noticed a small boy in primary school uniform standing alone by the road. He looked anxious and frightened. He looked lost and ran across the road. Without hesitation, I walked towards him and shelter him with my umbrella. I noticed he was crying in the rain.

I tried to comforted him and asked him why he cried. He told me that his father was supposed to fetch him but was nowhere. I decided to accompany this pity boy while waiting for his father to come.

Not long later, a Proton Wira came nearby us. The boy looked ecstatic because it was his father's car. He quickly darted to the car. Then, he and his father waved to me as a gesture of thanks.
